United Methodist Youth Fellowship

MUSIC - WORSHIP - STUDY - SERVICE - PLAY

Through these we seek to provide opportunities for our youth to experience the love and grace of God. There is a full program for Senior and Junior High School students with special retreat weekends, service and mission projects, summer camping, work projects, visits with our members in nursing homes, planned studies at UMYF, snack suppers before UMYF, beach and ski retreats, and Youth Week each Summer. We seek for youth to grow in the faith through these groups, thereby gaining knowledge, understanding, and experience of the gospel through activity, and fellowship.

Junior High Fellowship
    Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00 PM — Snack and fellowship followed by UMYF program --- Junior High Room (Room #108)

Senior High Fellowship
    Sundays, 6:00 — 7:30 PM — Snack and fellowship followed by UMYF program — Senior High Room     (Room #211)

Confirmation
    Confirmation in the Christian faith is for youth in the sixth grade or age twelve and above. It is a six week study time for youth to explore their questions about faith and who God is calling them to be.

 The mission of Gadsden First United Methodist Church is to share Jesus Christ with all people, make disciples of those in Christ, serve people who have hurts and needs, and offer them hope in Christ.
