The Student Ministries program at Gadsden First UMC is blessed to have so many wonderful people serving as mentors.

Youth Director, Andy Yarnell designs, implements and oversees the Student Ministries program. The Student Ministries team leader is Carmen McKiven.

  • Volunteers in the Junior High Department are coordinated by Carmen McKiven.
  • Volunteers in the Senior High department are coordinated by Joseph Jackson and Michael McKiven.
  • Volunteers in Student Ministry Small Groups are coordinated through Andy Yarnell, including the original small group known as Sunday School.
  • The Ministry Groups are coordinated by gifted individuals who mentor the young people in their areas of passion.
