Alleluia Offering 2025
This year's Alleluia Offering will support special ministries and projects including:
Organ Restoration- The organ is central to our sanctuary and traditional worship. It is an investment which requires ongoing maintenance and repair. The Alleluia Offering would fund a major upcoming repair, which would ensure this instrument would be a part of our worship for generations to come.
Student Ministry- Investing in youth and children is important for First United Methodist Church. The Alleluia Offering would partially fund youth retreats and children’s events for this summer.
Media Ministry- Several publications, such as a 2025 Gadsden First United Methodist Advent Devotion Book, are in the works. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if such books were available to the congregation and community free of charge?

Dogwood trees are blooming, and tulips are making their debut. Signs of spring are all around us, with Easter coming quickly. This means the 2025 Alleluia offering is soon approaching. The Alleluia Offering is a special offering, received at Easter, to fund specific, special ministries within the church. It is a challenge to tithe your income during Holy Week, above and beyond your regular giving to the church. This year’s gifts will fund organ restoration, student ministry and media ministry. Information and Alleluia Offering cards and envelopes are available in the Chestnut St Foyer. Contact the church office for assistance. Blessings, Rev. Sherri

Why we give.
We are a giving church, because we recognize how much God has given to us! We have so many excellent ministries at First United Methodist Church of Gadsden, and we are only able to provide these ministries because of the generosity of our church family. We want to answer God’s call to give with excellence! God wants us to give our time and our talents as well as financially. We would love to talk to you about ways you can be a part of First United Methodist Church of Gadsden's ministries through your prayers, presence, gifts., service & witness!
